Sure, I’ve had accomplishments. But those led to new challenges, uncharted territory, and feeling completely in the dark. I relied so much on myself to make decisions and overcome every obstacle on my own. Asking for help? Being vulnerable? At that point in my life, that seemed weak to me. Now, having Admiral Olson, former head of the Navy SEALs talk about never being the strongest or smartest, or John Donahoe, CEO of Nike, tell us how he learned to share and overcome personal and career challenges hit me like a brick. I constantly think, “This is the bar of character I need, of impact I can have, of accomplishment I want to run after.” And the people and roadmap are part of my life right in front of me every day.

And my Forum Group? Incredibly talented, but I love our shared hunger to grow even more.  "Oh, you have that problem?" "Me too." "Well, this is really annoying." "Yep, I feel it." “How are you dealing with it?" “I never thought of that.” It's like we're all experiencing the same things together and coming up with solutions as we go. I just can’t measure the value to my life of sharing with them.

“I’m immersed in a community of incredible leaders and peers where sharing is an expectation and vulnerability is required”
