Story:

Kevin began his career in the United States Air Force. He served as a computer security officer in the 7th Communications Group at the Pentagon, and later as a special agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), where he worked as a cybercrime investigator.

As CEO of Mandiant he was brought to the forefront of cybersecurity when Fortune magazine dubbed him the “CEO who caught the Chinese spies red-handed” for publishing a vetted report he and his company wrote to describe the efforts of the Chinese military in stealing American trade secrets. Kevin brings this tolerance for risk and virtues-based leadership to everything in his life and is an inspiring mentor for young professionals who seek to change the world.

Why Committed:

"I am grateful I began my career in the military where I was surrounded by individuals who believed in servant leadership and a higher cause. I am indebted to this experience. I believe CCL can help provide the tools we all need to lead in times of success, but perhaps more importantly, explore ways to be stalwart, unwavering examples of leadership during those moments of doubt and uncertainty. That’s when we learn the most about ourselves, and when leadership is needed the most. This is why CCL is so important to our future leaders, and why I am so committed to CCL."
